One of our favorite items to sew is a striking corset with lacing on the front side panels and a metal zipper in the center back seam. The corset is lined.

Suggested materials

For sewing this Camellia corset, we recommend using form-stable materials such as denim and cotton. For the lining, it is best to use cotton fabric.

Fabric requirement

For fabric width 150 cm (59,1″):

Size XXS-XS / 34-36 S-M/ 38-40 L-XL / 42-44 2XL-3XL / 46-48
Main fabric 55 (21,7″) 60 (23,6″) 60 (23,6″) 65 (25,6″)

Important! The material consumption is calculated based on the layout. The fabric may shrink, so reserve additional 5-10%

Also needed:

Metal separating zipper – 30 cm (11,8″);
Interfacing – 15 cm (6″);
Cord – 400 cm (157,5″);
Cotton lining – 45 cm (17,7″);
Bias adhesive tape – 100 cm (39,4″).

Ease allowance:

Bust circumference – 3 cm (1,2″);
Waist circumference – 7 cm (2,8″);
Hip circumference – 5 cm (2″).
