Fabrico for
Business

Built by an entrepreneur, for entrepreneurs. Production-ready sewing patterns that help brands, ateliers and independent makers create more — and spend less doing it.

Why we back makers

We're makers who bet on other makers.

Fabrico was started by a designer who launched her first brand with no budget — just fabric, a sewing machine, and an idea. We make accurate, production-ready sewing patterns so designers, ateliers and growing brands can do the same: create more, spend less, and turn ideas into real garments.

How it works

From a sketch to a factory-ready pattern

Every pattern starts as an idea and a hand-drawn sketch, then goes through a rigorous process before it's ever sized. Accuracy is everything when you manufacture in batches — so nothing ships until the fit is right.

  • Idea & sketch — seams, sleeves and finishing decided up front.
  • Professional drafting by an experienced pattern maker.
  • Test garment & fitting — sewn, fitted and refined until the fit is perfect.
  • Graded size charts built only once the fit is nailed.

Start lean

It all starts with an idea

Many makers start selling long before they invest in a studio. That's how Fabrico began — bright, wearable kids' styles, sewn by hand and sold online. Our ready-to-sew patterns give you that same head start.

  • Low upfront cost — skip expensive sampling.
  • Kids & adults — a growing range so your collection can grow with you.
  • Made to stand out — designs built around pieces people want to wear.
  • Test fast — validate demand with minimal risk.
Tatiana BU, designer and founder of Fabrico
Meet the founder

Tatiana BUDesigner & founder of Fabrico

“From creating outfits for myself, I moved on to designing children's clothes — and it all started with an idea.”

My name is Tatiana BU, and I'm a designer. I'm originally from Russia, but I've been living in Cyprus with my family for more than three years. I've loved sewing and designing clothes since childhood — back then it was the only way to look fashionable without spending a fortune.

In 2017 I created the @BUkidz brand in Russia — clothing for children with an attitude, made for active walks in any weather. Working on it, I built a team of talented professionals who create precise, professional patterns for large-batch manufacturing.

In 2019 a new idea was born: so many parents dream of cool, colourful clothes for their kids but can't afford expensive brands — yet they can make garments themselves. That's how my sewing-pattern project began. Gradually we grew from children's patterns to adults' too, and three years ago, after moving to Cyprus, I opened my pattern shop on Etsy. Now we're growing fast.

Frequently asked questions

Everything brands and makers ask before working with Fabrico.

What is Fabrico for Business?
Fabrico for Business is the B2B home of Fabrico — a place for independent designers, ateliers and apparel brands to find production-ready sewing patterns. From here you can choose between two paths: From Pattern to Production for brands scaling into manufacturing, and Sew More for Less for makers starting lean.
Can I start a clothing brand with a small budget?
Absolutely. Our founder started her @BUkidz brand with no experience and no money — sewing garments herself and selling them online before she ever registered a trademark. Fabrico's ready-to-sew patterns let you skip expensive sampling and bring a collection to market with minimal risk. It all starts with an idea.
How are Fabrico patterns created?
Each pattern begins as a designer's sketch, then is drafted in detail by an experienced pattern maker. We sew a test garment, fit it and refine it — often through several samples — before building an accurate, graded size chart. We never size a product until the fit is perfect, because accuracy is critical for batch production.
Are the patterns suitable for factory production?
Yes. The From Pattern to Production path is built for brands manufacturing in batches — with professionally graded patterns and size charts tested on real garments, ready to hand to a factory.
Do you offer patterns for both kids and adults?
Yes. Fabrico started with children's patterns and has grown to cover adults' patterns too, so you can expand your range as your brand grows.
