We present to you a midi dress with a fitted silhouette and an open back. The details of the bodice are tied at the neck with a bow. The bottom of the dress is along the middle back seam with a slit and a hidden zipper.

Suitable fabrics for this pattern include satin, satin weave, and drapey dress fabrics. These materials will provide the necessary flow and elegance for the Barbara dress.

Important! The material consumption is calculated based on the layout. The fabric may shrink, so reserve additional 5-10%.

Also needed:

  • Hidden zipper — 20 cm (8″);
  • Interfacing — 15 cm (6″);
  • Interfacing tape to reinforce the zipper and incision sections — 120 cm (47,5″).

Ease allowance:

  • Waist circumference — 2 cm (0,8″);
  • Hip circumference — 3 cm (1,2″).
