A three-tier flounced skirt

This skirt for girls is built from a front and back panel, each finished with three stacked, gathered flounces. The waistband is elasticized at the back for a comfortable, easy fit.

Sized for ages 2 to 10 years.

What you'll need

Suggested fabrics

A lightweight dress fabric, such as viscose. The skirt can also be made from cotton or thin jeans (denim).

Also needed

  • Interfacing – 15 cm (5.9″)
  • Elastic for the waistband

Pattern pieces already include 1 cm (0.39″) seam allowances on all edges.
