Lausanne women’s jacket sewing pattern + video tutorial

Lausanne women’s jacket sewing pattern + video tutorial

A feminine quilted oversize style jacket, perfect for warm spring days.

The jacket features no fastenings – instead, a belt accentuates the waist, hiding problem areas and highlighting the feminine silhouette. Deep pockets are sewn into the side seams. We recommend using thin 100g insulation and lightweight jacket fabric for soft quilt lines.

Or, you can use 150g insulation for puffier quilt lines. For a bolder look, you can skip the quilting to create a trendy, voluminous outerwear piece. This pattern is available in two heights: 170 cm and 176 cm, so when selecting your size, please don’t forget to check the appropriate height.

If you are not sure about the size, please see the size chart here.

Suggested materials

For sewing this Lausanne jacket, we recommend using lightweight jacket fabric (such as Moncler), with a density of no more than 150 grams. Use Isosoft or Alpolux 100g insulation. Additionally, you will need lining fabric.
