For sewing this dress, we recommend using:
Bodice – festive dress fabrics, satin (this can be Dupioni, matte, Russian, or American satin).
Lining – natural fabrics (cotton, viscose).
Under skirt – we recommend using thin fabrics that drape well. You can use the same fabric as the bodice. If your bodice is made from a denser fabric (e.g., Dupioni satin), use another thin fabric (this could be polyester, artificial silk, or dense viscose).
Top skirt and “wings” – Euro-tulle or another soft tulle.
For the wings on the sleeves – feathers on a ribbon as an addition.
