Sew the pocket bag and the front by folding the pieces back-to-back and matching the notches. Sew the bag to the front at the pocket entry line.
Fold over the seam binding tape and topstitch along the edge of the tape.
Place the top and bottom pocket bags right sides together, aligning notches, and stitch the pocket bag pieces together, finish the edges, and press.
Assemble the sides and front pieces right sides together, aligning notches. Stitch a relief seam, finish the seams, press towards the side.
Topstitch the side piece, 0.2 cm (1/8") from the seam line.
Fold the sleeve and front pieces right sides together, aligning notches. Stitch, finish the seam allowances, and press towards the sleeve.

Fold the sleeve and back pieces right sides together, aligning notches. Stitch, finish the seam allowances, and press towards the sleeve.

Fold and iron the seam binding tape in half, then sew it with slight tension along the hood allowance.
Attach the hood to the neckline, aligning notches, and placing pieces right sides together.
Cover the neckline and hood stitching with seam binding tape. Press the allowances down.
Sew the seam binding tape along the bottom of the sleeves with a little tension. Press.
Sew the seam binding tape along the bottom of the jacket with a little tension. Press.
Sew the seam binding tape on the shaped edge of the zipper panel. Press. Finish the straight edge of the placket.
Finish the fused center edges of the front.
Attach one part of the zipper to the right side of the front, inserting the tape facing towards the hood.
Zip up, then attach the second part of the zipper to the left side of the front.
Sew a placket on the right side of the zipper.
Press the zipper, topstitch along it, 0.2 cm (1/8") from the seam line.
Press the finished jacket well.
