Before the First Stitch

Most sewists started in a room full of questions with nobody to answer them: which machine to buy, what the settings do, why the thread keeps breaking, what “cut on the bias” means. This course answers all of it in the order that makes sense, without assuming what you already know. You learn the machine (how to choose one, thread it, and fix the first problems), the stitches and when to use each, how to choose and prepare fabric, the tools that actually matter, how to read a pattern and assemble a PDF, and the construction sequence that gives a clean result instead of an obviously homemade one.

Then you make a real garment from start to finish, not a practice scrap but something you will wear. No experience needed; this course starts at the beginning and is built to make every Fabrico pattern feel straightforward. Each lesson is a full video tutorial with step-by-step narration, plain and jargon-free. You get permanent access from the day you enrol, a downloadable reference guide to every tool, stitch, and technique, and the Fabrico Learning Hub. First seam, first garment, first time it all makes sense.
