PDF Pattern + Video Tutorial
Relaxed drawstring trousers with a soft pleated front, slant side pockets, a back patch pocket and a gently tapered, cropped leg. A linen wardrobe staple you can cut and sew in an afternoon.
Before you start
Choose a fabric with a soft drape so the leg falls cleanly and the drawstring waist gathers without bulk.
We recommend linen, cotton, lightweight suiting fabrics, or thin denim for sewing these trousers. All of them hold the relaxed shape well while staying breathable.
How much to buy

Cutting list
Ten pieces in total. Cut the main fabric pieces from your fashion fabric and the two pocket pieces from lining.
Every Fabrico pattern already includes a 1 cm seam allowance, so you can cut straight along the pattern lines.
The full construction, from waistband to hem, is in the video tutorial.
