Nantes mens tank top - sewing tutorial
PATTERN DESCRIPTION
A basic men’s tight-fitting tank top, with armholes and neckline finished with binding. Suitable both as an underlayer for a shirt and as a standalone piece for summer or athletic outfits.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS
We recommend using lightweight jersey fabrics. The ideal option is interlock.

SEWING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Sew the shoulder and side seams of the front (1) and back (2). Press the seam allowances towards the back.
2. Press the binding for the neckline (3) and armholes (4) along the length.
3. Fold the binding in half and stitch in a loop. Press the seam.
4. Topstitch along the edge of the bindings.
5. Attach the neckline binding, evenly distributing the ease allowance. Press the seam allowances onto the garment.
6. Topstitch along the neckline, 0,2 cm (0,08 in) from the attaching seam, capturing the seam allowances.
7. Repeat the same process for the armholes.
8. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side. Topstitch with a finish stitch using a serger or a double needle on a sewing machine.
9. Iron the finished garment.
