PATTERN DESCRIPTION
The shopper bag features a voluminous bottom and straps with a bow tie.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS
Natural fabrics are perfect for sewing: linen, cotton, denim, gunny fabric.
FABRIC REQUIREMENT (CM/IN)
for fabric width 1.50 m (1 ⅝ yd)
Main fabric — 0.80 m (⅞ yd). Аttention! Pattern pieces already include seam allowances.
When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5—10% more than required.
SHOPPER BAG MEASUREMENTS
• Height — 45 cm (17 ¾”);
• Width — 40 cm (15 ¾”);
• Strap length — 72 cm (28 ⅜”).

SEWING INSTRUCTIONS
STRAPS
1. Sew the straps (2) along one long side and one short side, placing the piece with the right side inside.
2. Cut out the corners, turn them inside out and press them.
ASSEMBLING
1. Mark the lower corners according to the patterns on the bag pieces (1).
2. Sew the side and bottom seams, placing the pieces with the right side inside. Sew seam allowances and press.
3. Fold the corners along the markings, stitch and secure into the bottom seam.
4. Press the top seam allowance along the notches according to the patterns.
5. Attach the straps to the side seams along the notches, placing the parts right side together.
6. Topstitch along the edge of the seam allowance.
7. Secure the straps along the top edge of the shopper.
8. Give the shopper bag a final press.
