Sewing tutorial SHORTS
Before sewing
To sew this shorts choose stretchy fabrics like biflex, blended cotton, rib knits. Use serger (overlock) to sew this shorts. In case you don’t have serger, replace it with a stretch stitch or zigzag stitch on the sewing machine. While sewing we recommend to baste the details together before stitching to avoid displacement of the upper fabric.
Consumption
For sewing you will need:
1. Main fabric, with a width of 150 cm (59,1″) – 65 cm (25,6″) for all sizes;
2. Rings for straps – 2 pcs.;
3. Sliders for straps – 2 pcs.;
4. Rubber elastic (for edging) – 190 cm (74,8″);
5. Fabric for lining (optional) – 60 cm (23,6″) for all sizes.

When buying fabric, keep in mind that the material can shrink, so take with amargin of 5-10%.

Description of tailoring
Pin two main panels right sides together along the front and back center seams. Serge it. Press seam allowances.
Pin details along the inseam right
sides together.
Serge it.
Press seam allowances to the back.
Fold the bottom hem of the shorts and pin it. We recommend to baste the folded hem. Use Twin Needle to sew the hem. Also, you can use zigzag or any stretchy stitch. Pin two main panels right sides together along the front and back center seams.
Serge it.
Press seam allowances.

Fold the waistband in half right sides together and pin its short edges. Serge it. Press seam allowances as shown
Measure the elastic over the waist. Pin its short edges and stitch into the ring.
Fold the waistband in half wrong sides together, place the elastic inside the waistband. Pin the waistband along the waistline, aligning the notches. Baste it. Serge in place. Press seam allowances to the garment.
