A simple A-line skirt with a soft elastic waistband and two angled patch pockets on the front — a quick, beginner-friendly sew from a single piece of dense jersey.
This skirt comes together from a front and back panel joined at the side seams, with two angled patch pockets sewn onto the front. A soft elastic threaded through a folded waistband keeps it comfortable to wear, and the hem is simply folded and stitched.
You can make the pockets and waistband from the main fabric or from a contrasting fabric, as you like.
Sized from 92 to 140 cm height.
A dense Jersey knit is recommended for this skirt.
Fabric consumption = desired skirt length + 4 cm (1.57″). All patterns already include 1 cm (0.39″) seam allowances.
