Place two visor pieces face to face and stitch. Cut out seam ease allowances, turn inside out and iron.

Mark the location of the grommets on the side of the hood and install them.

Place the side pieces on the central part of the hood and stitch.

Make a topstitch along the central part of the hood, so that the seams are directed towards the central part. Pre-trim half of the seam allowance from the central part of the hood.

Place the side pieces of the hood on the central part of the hood lining and stitch. Iron press the seam allowances onto the side pieces. Make a topstitch along the seam along the side pieces.

Stitch the hood facing to the hood lining, folding the pieces face to face. Iron press the seam allowances onto the hood.

Make a topstitch along the lining at 0.1 cm (1/16") from the stitching seam.

Connect the right and left hood stands to the main hood piece and the lining piece, folding the pieces face to face. Note that the cuts along the bottom and top of the hood should meet.

Thread the elastic band and adjusters through the grommets. Secure along the cut with pins or clips.

Secure the ends of the elastic band with two stitches.

Stitch the seam allowances on the hood lining in different directions. On the main piece, direct them towards the hood stand.

Stitch the visor to the right side of the hood.

Fold the hood and hood lining face to face and stitch.

Cut along the seam allowance at the rounding points and turn right side out.

Make a topstitch along the hood facing 0.1 cm (1/16") from the stitching seam.

Secure the elastic around the entire outline with pins or clamps. Mark the location of the stitch at 2.5–3 cm (1") from the edge and make it.

Mark the location of the pocket on the right and left front.

Mark the fold line of the welt and make a stitch along this line on the sewing machine.

The finished welt is 2.5 cm (1"). Mark this length and set it aside from the fold.

Make a stitch to this value.

The piece can be iron pressed through a pressing cloth.

For your convenience, it is better to extend the location of the pocket, so it will be easier to navigate while sewing.

The welt piece will be stitched along the pocket marking line, which is closer to the center of the overalls.

Pin and sew the welt, hitting the previously made stitch. The line should end exactly along the marking.

Place the pocket facing piece on the lower pocket lining and mark its location. Next, set aside 2 cm (3/4") from the marked points.

Fold the pocket facing with the pocket bag and stitch, having previously pinned the pieces along the marking line.

Sew, stepping back 1 cm (3/8") from the edge of the pocket facing.

Fold the pocket facing to the front and make a topstitch at 0.1 cm (1/16") from the edge. Iron press.

Pin the upper pocket bag along the welt, aligning the cuts. Make a stitch on the sewing machine, hitting the previously made seam. The beginning and end of the stitch should end exactly along the marking of the pocket entrance stitch.

Using the marking of the frame as a guide, pin the lower pocket lining. Place the lower pocket bag with the hem down. Make a stitch on the sewing machine. You should get two parallel stitches.

Mark the cut line of the pocket entrance and cut it, first along a straight line, and then, not reaching 2.5 cm (1") to the edge, into corners, leaving 0.1 cm (1/16").

Turn everything inside out.

Secure the ends on the sewing machine.

Make a topstitch around the outline of the pocket on the front side, starting from the end, sew a stitch along the pocket entrance and finish on the opposite side.

Fold back the bottom pocket bag and pin it. Sew a stitch to complete the frame.

Pin the pocket bags and stitch on the sewing machine.

Place two back lining pieces face to face along the center seam and sew.

Iron press the seam allowances to either side.

Place the front pieces of the right and left pieces of the lining overalls face to face on top of the back lining. Pin the shoulder seams, side and center seams along the front.

Stitch 1 cm (3/8") from the edge along the side seams, along the shoulder seams and along the center seam of the front to the split.

Pin and sew the inseam, iron the seam ease allowances to the front.

Pin the sleeve lining pieces and sew along the seam, leaving an unstitched opening in one of the sleeves.

Iron press the seam ease allowances towards the front.

Sew the sleeves into the lining of the overalls.

Iron press the seam ease allowances onto the sleeve.

Place the right and left front pieces on the back, pin and stitch the shoulder and side seams.

For your convenience, you can stitch the seams in different directions.

Combine the crotch cuts and stitch.

Turn one half of the overalls inside out and put it into the opposite side of the overalls. Pin along the middle cut of the back and stitch, not reaching the ledge along the front by 1 cm (3/8").

Make two parallel lines at a distance of 0.1 cm (1/16") from the stitching seam, fixing the allowances by pressing them together.

Fold the rib knit cuff and stitch it into a ring. Iron press the ease allowances apart.

Pin the sleeve facings along the short cut and stitch them together.

Fold the sleeves in half and stitch them together.

Sew the cuff into the sleeve facing (the narrower part of the sleeve facing is the bottom, used to hem the sleeve, while the cuff from the rib knit fabric is sewn along the wider diameter of the facing).

Sew the facing with the cuff already sewn into the sleeve, aligning and straightening the seams in different directions.

Make a topstitch so that the facing does not fall out during use.

Mark the location of the drawstring using the patterns.

Pin the drawstring piece, starting from the center of the back.

Make two stitches, stepping back 1 cm (3/8") from the edge and from the beginning of the drawstring.

Insert elastic band into the drawstring and secure at the ends.

Sew the sleeves into the armholes.

Fold the cuff and lining pieces of the trousers along the short side and sew.

Overcast and iron press the stitching allowances on the cuff pieces.

Cut the elastic band to the desired length and sew. Spread the seam allowances for stitching the elastic in different directions.

Topstitch the elastic along the narrower diameter of the cuff. Divide the elastic band and cuff into 4 equal parts and, using the markings as a guide, stretch the elastic band and distribute it along the cuff. Pin it so that it overlaps (by about 5–7 mm (3/16–1/4")).

Stretching the elastic band, sew along the edge.

Fold the elastic band inward and, stretching, sew along the second edge.

Insert the cuff into the lining of the trousers, face to face. On the lining of the bottom of the trousers, straighten the allowances in different directions, and on the cuff, direct the allowance to the side. Pin the pieces and stitch.

Turn the overalls inside out, put the lining of the bottom of the trousers with the cuff already sewn into the leg, pin the pieces, aligning the seams, stitch.

Turn the lining to the right side and stitch through the bottom of the trousers. Turn the overalls to the right side.

On the hanging loop piece, iron press the longitudinal allowances inward, fold along the folds and stitch along the edge. Iron press.

The location of the hanging loop is marked on the lining pieces. Pin the hanging loop piece and stitch at 0.5 cm (3/16") from the edge.

Connect the lining to the sleeves. To do this, turn the top of the overalls inside out, connect it to the lining, inserting it into the sleeve facing.

Stitch along the entire outline at a distance of 1 cm (3/8") from the edge.

Fasten the facing to the sleeve along the seam allowance. This is done to prevent the facing from falling out of the sleeve during use.

Pin the windproof placket piece to the right side of the hood along the upper ease allowance of the placket and stitch both sides. Finish the stitching, not reaching 1 cm (3/8") from the edge on the side where the zipper will be sewn in.

Pin the opposite side and stitch. Cut out seam allowances at the rounding points. Turn right side out, straighten the seam into a split, and topstitch.

Pre-decate the zipper.

Measure the cut along which the zipper will be sewn in and mark this distance on the zipper.

Measure 1–1.5 cm (3/4–5/8") up from the chalked line.

Pin the stopper piece in half and pin to the upper chalked line.

Pin the zipper to the left side of the overalls. Baste the stopper to the zipper. Stitch at 1 cm (3/4") from the edge. To make it easier to navigate, mark the end of the line. Remove the basting.

Cut the seam allowance from the ledge to the line, leaving 0.1 cm (1/16").

Close the zipper and baste the other side of the stopper to the opposite side of the zipper.

Baste the right side of the zipper in the same way and stitch it.

Secure the cut allowance from the wrong side. Tip: it is better to stitch along the corner, not along the zipper.

Pin the windproof strip along the right half of the overalls. Stitch at 1 cm (3/8") from the edge, trying to get exactly on the seam of the zipper.

Pin the lining to the zipper and sew it.

Process the left half of the lining in the same way.

Topstitch along the zipper. It is better to stitch in two stages, starting from the right side.

Pin the hood to the neck of the overalls, folding them face to face. Sew.

Overstitch the edge of the left stand.

Connect the lining of the overalls with the hood lining. To do this, turn everything inside out, pin and stitch on a sewing machine.

Put the lining of the lower part of the overalls into the lining of the leg, pin and stitch. Fasten the seam allowances in the same way as on the sleeves.

If the zipper is too long, shorten it and fasten it with hand stitches.

The lining of the overalls should be fastened along the allowances to the base of the overalls. This can be done with hand stitches in the same way as the sleeves and the bottom of the trousers were fastened.

Cut out 3–5 cm (1–2") strips from the lining and fasten them along the seam allowances. Place such fastenings at 3 cm (1") below the armhole, at knee level along the inside and outside, and along the shoulder seams. Also fasten the neckline along the line of the hood. This is best done with hand stitches.

Turn the overalls inside out through the opening left in the sleeve and sew it up.

Put buttons on the hood stand. Transfer the location of the buttons from the patterns and install them.
