Alaska baby’s overalls sewing pattern + video tutorial

An insulated jumpsuit with a lining, featuring two front zippers, and a drawstring at the waist on the back. The sleeves and pant legs have elastic cuffs. The jumpsuit comes with a hood, which includes a drawstring fitted with a hat elastic.

This practical and comfortable jumpsuit with two zippers is a lifesaver for parents of agile toddlers! Simply unzip the zippers, spread open the front panels of the jumpsuit, and place the baby inside. The soft and warm lining can be entirely made of fleece. The deep hood is equipped with drawstrings, so it protects child’s ears from wind. There is no collar, which is a thoughtful part of design for the comfort of the little ones. Cuffs on the wrists and ankles prevent snow from getting inside. This jumpsuit will become a favorite in your baby’s winter wardrobe!

Suggested materials

For sewing this winter jumpsuit, we recommend using membrane fabrics because they are effective at preventing moisture penetration.

For the lining, we recommend using fleece or Karisma fabric. For the sleeves, taffeta, foil-backed lining fabric, or any other smooth lining fabric can be used. For insulation, we recommend choosing between Iso-soft 200 or Alpolux 200.
