The “Eva” trousers are thoughtfully designed to provide comfort for both expecting and postpartum mothers.

– Soft elastic fabric insert supports the belly without causing discomfort (tightness, rubbing).
– Waistband is elastic and adjustable, allowing the size to be increased or decreased for greater comfort as the baby inside grows.
– Two convenient side pockets.
– Loose and modern trousers cut makes it suitable for both business casual and personal time casual.

Suggested materials

For sewing the Barney maternity pants, we recommend choosing a dense knit fabric with Lycra for the main material.

– Perfect choices are 2-thread French terry. If you prefer a warmer version of the pants, use a thicker knit fabric, such as 3-thread French terry, either looped or brushed.

– If you decide to use a warmer type of knit fabric like brushed French terry as the main fabric, we recommend using rib knit or 2-thread French terry with Lycra in the same color as the main fabric for the waistband. The required fabric for the waistband for all sizes will be 0.2 meters with a fabric width of 1.8 meters.

– For the belly insert, it is better to use a more stretchy type of knit fabric such as rib knit or jersey. The knit should be dense, stretch well, and recover its shape after stretching.

Fabric requirement
1) For size S: the consumption of the main fabric is 1.3 meters (51,2″)

2) For size 3XL: the consumption of the main fabric is 1.3 meters (51,2″)

3) Rib knit (or kulirka) for insertion under the belly: consumption for all sizes is 0.6 meters (23,6″).

Also needed: grommets, belt cord.
