If you think a corset is someting only medieval princesses wore, you’re wrong. You can wear it, too – more than that, you can make it yourself and regulate its width, still looking strikingly beautiful.

A striking corset featuring lacing on the front side panels and a metal zipper closure in the center back seam. The corset is lined.

Suggested materials

For sewing the corset, we recommend using shape-holding materials such as denim or cotton. For the lining it’s best to use cotton fabric.

Fabric requirement

For fabric width 150 cm (59,1″):

Size 2XL-3XL / 46-48
Main fabric 65 (25,6″)

Important! The material consumption is calculated based on the layout. The fabric may shrink, so reserve additional 5-10%

Also needed:

Metal separating zipper – 30 cm (11.8″).
Interfacing – 15 cm (6″).
Cord – 4.0 m (157,5″).
Cotton lining – 45 cm (17,8″).
Bias adhesive tape – 1.0 m (39,4″).
